Vicamatic3

Setting time is the time required for stiffening a cement paste to a defined consistency. Setting time is affected by a number of factors including cement fineness, water-cement ratio, chemical composition (especially gypsum content), admixtures and is generally tested by Vicat apparatus. Consistence of fresh mortar can be assessed by Flow table method or Plunger apparatus.

Standard Vicat Apparatus

The Vicat frame consists essentially of a metal stand with a sliding rod. ASTM/EN method.

Automatic Vicat Apparatus

Automatic setting time testers for cement and mortar.

Flow Tables for Mortar and Building Lime

Used to determine the consistency of mortars and building lime.

Gillmore Apparatus

Use to determine the setting time of cement. The apparatus consists of two horizontal arms...

Plunger Penetration Apparatus

Used for determining the consistency of masonry cement and building limes.

Workable Life and Stiffening Time Apparatus

Used to determine the workable life and stiffening time of mortars.
