Potential Alkaly Reactivity, Expansion Test

icon youtube
62-L0035/A with reference rod (not included)

Alkali-Silica reaction is a form of chemical degradation of concrete that occurs in the presence of aggregates characterized by a particular mineralogical composition, causing expansion of the altered aggregate. Since this process is slow, expansion can occur during the concrete hardening phase, causing localized swelling and cracks, resulting in critical structural problem.

Two Gang Prism Mould 25x25x285 mm to ASTM

This mould is used for the Expansion of Portland cement

Length Comparator

Is used for a number of length measurements concerning mainly cement and mortar specimens

Mortar Bar Container

Used for determining the potential alkali reactivity of cement aggragate combination.

Mortar Bar Container for Accelerated Method

For potential alkali reactivity of cement aggragate combination (accelerated method).

Prism Mould 25x25x280 mm to UNI

Used for accelerated expansion test on mortar prisms to UNI 11504.

Prism Mould 75x75x285 mm to UNI

Used for expansion test on concrete prisms to UNI 11604.
