The Micro-Deval testing machine is used to determine aggregates’ resistance to wear. It consists of a motor driven actuator (including inverter) which transmits the rotation directly to the jars. Each jar is built with an attachment that transfers the rotation to the proximal jar. The direct application of rotation forces ensures strict compliance to the rotating speed prescribed by the Standards.
The integrated automatic counter can either be preset to a total number of revolutions or maximum working time. Totally safe, all moving parts are enclosed in a CE-conforming soundproof safety cabinet that automatically stops when the lid is open. Compact and ergonomic, the Micro-Deval will maximize your laboratory bench space as it can either be positioned on a working table or on its own optional dedicated base.
Cylinders and steel spheres complying with either EN or ASTM Standards must be purchased separately. Please refer to the accessories section for more information.
